Muhasebe Meslek Mensuplarının Psikolojik Güçlendirme Algıları Üzerinde, Aşırı Niteliklilik ve İşyerinde Sıkılma Durumunun Etkisi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı bağımsız olarak faaliyet gösteren muhasebe meslek mensuplarının psikolojik güçlendirme algıları üzerinde, iş yerinde sıkılma durumu (bore-out) ile aşırı niteliklilik durumunun etkisinin olup olmadığını araştırmaktır. 3568 sayılı muhasebe meslek kanununda muhasebe meslek mensuplarının yapacağı tüm işlemlerin yasal temelleri atılmıştır. Ancak günümüze kadar gelinen süreçte muhasebe meslek mensuplarının vereceği hizmetlerde psikolojik güçlendirme hususunda herhangi bir düzenleme yapılmamıştır. Bu nedenle çalışmada muhasebe meslek mensuplarının psikolojik güçlendirme algıları ölçülmeye çalışılmış ve bu algıyı etkileyebilecek faktörler araştırılmıştır. Araştırma konusunun muhasebe meslek mensupları üzerinde çalışılmamış olması araştırmanın önemini göstermekle birlikte literatüre katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir. Kütahya ve Eskişehir örneklemi kapsamında yapılan çalışmaya 318 muhasebe meslek mensubu gönüllü olarak katılmıştır. Yapısal eşitlik modelinin kullanıldığı çalışmanın sonucunda psikolojik güçlendirmenin alt boyutlarından anlamlılık boyutunun iş yerinde sıkılma durumu alt boyutu olan gelişme krizini azalttığı ancak psikolojik güçlendirmenin alt boyutlarından etki boyutunun aşırı niteliklilik algısı alt boyutu olan vasıflılık boyutunu da artırdığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca aşırı nitelikliliğin iş yerinde sıkılma durumu üzerinde psikolojik güçlendirmenin aracılık rolü etkisinin olmadığı tespit edilmiştir.

This study aims to investigate whether bore-out syndrome and overqualification affect the psychological empowerment perceptions of accounting professionals who operate independently. The legal basis for all transactions to be carried out by accounting professionals has been laid in the accounting profession law numbered 3568. However, no regulation has been made regarding psychological empowerment in the services to be provided by accounting professionals up until today. Therefore, the study attempted to measure the perceptions of psychological empowerment among accounting professionals and investigated the factors that could affect this perception. The fact that accounting professionals have not studied the research topic shows the research’s importance and is thought to contribute to the literature. 318 accounting professionals participated voluntarily in the study conducted within the scope of Kütahya and Eskişehir samples. As a result of the study using the structural equation model, it was concluded that the meaning dimension, which is one of the sub-dimensions of psychological empowerment, reduced the crisis of growth, which is the sub-dimension of the bore-out syndrome, but the impact dimension, which is one of the sub-dimensions of psychological empowerment, increased the dimension of mismatch, which is the sub-dimension of perception of overqualification. In addition, it was determined that psychological empowerment did not have a mediating effect on bore-out syndrome due to overqualification.
