The challenges of climate change, rapid urbanisation and environmental degradation are increasing the risks on the urban infrastructure systems, and changes beyond the traditional civil engineering practices are necessary. This chapter examines how the integrating digital innovations with the nature-based solutions can enhance climate-resilient urban infrastructure as a whole. Through an analytical and application-oriented perspective, this chapter demonstrates how smart technologies such as digital twins, artificial intelligence, and real-time monitoring strengthen the performance, measurability, and adaptive management of nature-based solutions. The chapter creates a system as a whole linking technology, ecology and governance and makes the spaces of application and policy implications, recommending possibilities of having resilient, sustainable and inclusive developments of urban infrastructure.
