Uluslararası Haber Ajanslarının Haber Yazım Teknikleri Açısından Karşılaştırmalı İçerik Analizi: the Associated Press, Reuters, Kyodo News ve Anadolu Ajansı Örneği

Abstract

Araştırmada uluslararası ajans haberciliğinde siyasi haberlerin yazımında ne tür haber yazım tekniklerinin kullanıldığını ve 5N1K öğelerinin ne oranda yanıtlandığını ortaya koymak amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada üç aşamalı yöntem izlenmiştir: literatür taraması, içerik analizi ve karşılaştırmalı analiz yöntemi. İlk önce araştırmanın kavramsal çerçevesine yönelik literatür taraması yapılmıştır. Ardından Minds International’e üye haber ajanslarından the Associated Press, Reuters, Kyodo News ve Anadolu Ajansının resmi sitelerinden toplam 160 adet siyasi haber rastgele örnekleme tekniğiyle araştırma örneklemi olarak seçilmiştir. Örneklem olarak seçilen 160 adet siyasi haber içerik analizi yöntemiyle analiz edilmekle birlikte içerik analizinden elde edilen istatistiksel veriler karşılaştırmalı yöntemle analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma verileri söz konusu haber ajanslarının resmi sitelerinden manuel olarak toplanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; incelenen siyasi haberlerde 5N1K öğelerinin ajanslara göre farklı oranda yanıtlandığı, AP ve Anadolu Ajansı haberlerinde ters piramit tekniğinin ağırlıklı olarak tercih edildiği, Reuters haberlerinde kum saati tekniğinin ve Kyodo News haberlerinde T modelin ağırlıklı olarak kullanıldığı ortaya konulmuştur. Ayrıca kullanılan haber yazım teknikleri ve 5N1K öğelerinin yanıtlanma oranı açısından the Associated Press ile Anadolu Ajansı arasında bir benzerlik olduğu saptanmıştır.

This study aims to reveal what kind of news writing techniques are used in the writing of political news in international agency journalism and to what extent the 5Ws and 1H elements are answered. The research follows a three-stage method: literature review, content analysis and comparative analysis method. First, a literature review was conducted for the conceptual framework of the research. Then, a total of 160 political news articles from the news websites of the Associated Press, Reuters, Kyodo News and Anadolu Agency, which are member news agencies of Minds International, were selected as the research sample through random sampling technique. The 160 political news selected as a sample were analyzed by content analysis method and the statistical data obtained from content analysis were analyzed by comparative method. The research data were collected manually from the official websites of the news agencies in question. Microsoft Excel program was used to analyze the data. As a result of the research; it is revealed that 5Ws and 1H elements are answered at different rates in the analyzed political news according to the agencies, inverted pyramid technique is predominantly preferred in AP and Anadolu Agency news, hourglass technique is predominantly used in Reuters news and T model is predominantly used in Kyodo News news. In addition, it is determined that there is a similarity between the Associated Press and Anadolu Agency in terms of the news writing techniques used and the response rate of 5N1K items.
