The call for tourism sector to contribute its quota to a cleaner and a greener environment is gaining momentum. Organization's green initiative and training are mainly on employee's contribution to the environment and its sustainability. Research related to green human resource management especially green training (GT), environmental performance, and behaviors have been given little attention in the hospitality industry. The particular examination of GT and its effect on organizational citizenship behavior (OCBE) and perceived behavioral control (PBC), the mediation effect of OCBE in the above relationship is the main aim of the study. Adopting the AbilityMotivation-Opportunity theory to explore the direct and indirect effect of GT on PBC, this study surveyed 306 respondents from employees in the hotel industry. The data were analyzed using AMOS 23 version. GT stands as an important implementation to directly stimulate employee organizational citizenship behavior towards the environment (OCBE) and PBC. The practical and theoretical implication is included; also suggestions for further research are listed below.en_US
