Organisations worldwide face significant interruption from the COVID-19 epidemic. This report examines the complex link between HRM and OB in the pandemic. It highlights good and negative impacts. This qualitative study uses semi-structured interviews with HR professionals to reveal Covid-19's complex impact on workplaces. The Covid-19 epidemic changed how workers work and experience their jobs. The transition to remote work disrupted routines and relationships, causing uncertainty and anxiety. HR departments recognised the importance of a great remote work experience and took steps to connect remote staff. Virtual team-building, regular check-ins, and engagement-boosting practices made distant work more positive. HRM struggled throughout this period despite efforts. The rapid switch to remote work required quick modifications and employee assistance. The epidemic presented many hurdles for HR workers.
