| dc.description.abstract | In the 19th century, the Industrial Revolution led to major changes in gastronomy, such as standardization, improved storage and transportation conditions, and the introduction of various culinary technologies. However, a larger paradigm shift is coming with Industry 4.0. This transformation is characterized by integrating digital technologies, automation, data exchange, and the Internet of Things (IoT) into industrial processes. This process aims to increase efficiency, provide real-time data access, and facilitate personalized and rapid product and service delivery. In developed countries, the food and beverage sector is one of the sectors chosen for the adoption of Industry 4.0. Gastronomy 4.0 is a concept that brings contemporary technological developments such as technology, data analysis, automation, and digitalization to the culinary world. This covers various aspects of food and beverage production, preparation, service, kitchen management, and dining experiences. The components of Gastronomy 4.0 include digital kitchens, data analytics, artificial intelligence, digital dining experiences, and food safety and tracking. Overall, Gastronomy 4.0 continues to transform gastronomy by evolving the food and beverage industry and changing traditional culinary arts. | |
