[SDG 17]: Istanbul Gelisim University Partnerships For The Goals Report: 2024

Abstract

Sustainable Development Goal 17 (SDG 17) provides a critical framework for achieving all other goals. It emphasizes the necessity of collaboration among national and international actors in areas such as efficient resource utilization, knowledge and technology transfer, capacity building, and financial partnerships. Universities play a key role in this process by producing scientific knowledge, supporting policy development, engaging in communityoriented initiatives, and fostering education that reinforces global partnerships. In this regard, SDG 17 is not merely a stand-alone goal but a comprehensive and integrative area of responsibility that intersects with all other SDGs.
