dc.description.abstractThis paper discusses the concept of nutrition and the importance of food security. Nutrition is defined as the intake of nutrients necessary for development, growth, health, and continuity of life. Historically, food security has not been fully achieved due to the scarcity of natural resources, occasionally leading to wars. Since the end of the 19th century, progress has been made with new techniques and methods.
