dc.description.abstractAmaç: Üniversite öğrencilerinde premenstrual sendrom görülme sıklığını belirlemek amacıyla tanımlayıcı olarak yapılmıştır. Yöntem: Araştırmanın örneklemini 2014-2015 eğitim öğretim yılında eğitim gören 426 üniversite öğrencisi oluşturmuştur. Veri toplama aracı olarak öğrenci bilgi formu ve Premenstrual Sendrom Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde, yüzdelik dağılım, t testi ve ANOVA analizleri kullanılmıştır. Sonuç: Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerde Premenstrual Sendrom sıklığı %43 olarak bulunmuştur. Öğrencilerin Premenstrual Sendrom Ölçeği puan ortalaması 123.63±36.62 (Min44- Max219)dir. Premenstrual sendrom ölçeği puan ortalamalarının düzensiz adet gören ve dismenoresi olan öğrencilerde daha yüksek olduğu saptanmıştır. Aile öyküsü olanlarda da Premenstrual sendrom puan ortalaması daha yüksek bulunmuş olup, istatistiksel olarak anlamlılık tespit edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin %71’inin premenstrual dönemde iştah değişimi, %60’ının ağrı, %58’inin sinirlilik, %56’ının uyku değişimi, %54’ünün depresif duygulanım%54’ünün şişkinlik, %51’inin yorgunluk, %32’inin depresif düşünceler ve %31’inin anksiyeteyi deneyimlediği saptanmıştır. Ağrılı adet görme ve adet öncesi problemler için bir sağlık kurumuna başvuranların oranı %33.6 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Bu çalışmada öğrencilerin yarısına yakınında premenstrual sendrom tespit edilmiştir. Üniversite öğrencilerinde Premenstrual sendrom’un olumsuz etkilerini azaltmak için sağlık çalışanları öğrencilere eğitim ve danışmanlık hizmeti vermelidir.en_US
dc.description.abstractAim: This is a descriptive study to determine the incidence of premenstrual syndrome in university students. Method: The study samples consisted of 426 college students of academic year of 2014- 2015. The data collection tools and student information form Premenstrual Syndrome Scale were used. Evaluation of thedata, percentage distributions, t-test and ANOVA were used. The prevalence of the students surveyed were found to be 43%. PMS students' average scale score 123.63 ± 36.62 (44-219) d. PMS average score of menstruating irregularly and was found to be higher among students with dysmenorrhea. Those with a family history of PMS was found mean score is higher, it was found to be statistically significant. Appetite changes in the premenstrual period of 71.0% of the students, the pain 60.0'n%, 58.0% of irritability, sleep change of 56%, depressed mood of swelling of 54.0%, 54.0%, fatigue 51.0%, 32% it was found that in the depressive thoughts and anxiety experienced 31%. The ratio of applicants to a medical institution for painful menstruation and menstrual problems ahead have been identified as 33.6%. In this study, students were determined to half premenstrual syndrome. Conclusion: Healt wrokers should educate university students tor edece negative effects of PMS.en_US
