dc.description.abstractAn image appears in my mind—dust, a cloud dancing on an endless road, shimmering in the sun, tossed by the weight of camel steps. That ancient trail from Istanbul to Baghdad comes to life on the backs of mules, the speed of horses, and the exhausted breaths of men. Stops pass before my eyes: İzmit, Sapanca, Bolu, Tosya—each a breath, a moment, the beginning of a story. And then, in Merzifon, you take refuge in the shadow of the Kara Mustafa Pasha Caravanserai. Your body is covered in dust, your soul weighed down by the weight of the road, and your stomach empty—but here, between the stone walls, a hearth burns.
