With the rising international competition, the companies in the automotive industry have come to perform significant portions of their production in different geographical regions outside their mainland. While the major issue in the past was the price competition in this industry, today the product diversity, physical equipment, appearance and quality have also become prominent parameters in addition to the prices. The R&D expenses have been getting increasingly important in the industry which is marked by a fierce competition on an international scale, and the R&D works focus on the use of alternative fuels, safety, lightness, environmental friendliness and fuel efficiency. On the basis of the data from the Turkish Statistical Institute-Press Release / Road Motor Vehicles, variables for the period of 2002-2015 were determined and examined; the data acquired in the research were analyzed through the E-Views 8.0 software, and the factors affecting the sales to the greatest extent were determined through regression and correlation analyses. Accordingly, the total vehicle sales increase every year by 2.1 million in comparison with the previous year; this increase in sales is estimated to include 1.1 million automobiles, 52 thousand minibuses and 27 thousand buses; the sales of diesel-fueled automobiles increase the total automobile sales by 4.15 units, and the sales of LPG-fueled automobiles and the sales of gasoline-fueled automobiles influenced the total automobile sales by 2.63 and 2.17 units, respectively.Öğe Benefits of exercises performed in prenatal and postnatal processes of pregnancy(Kamala-Raj Enterprises, 2018) Korkmaz, Murat; Yücel, Ali Serdar; Yildiz, Kaya; Sahbudak, Ercan; Yildiz, Sevilay; Sevil, Ümran; Sen, ErdalThis research aims at determining views of health personnel regarding benefits of exercises performed properly in prenatal and postnatal processes of pregnancy. For this purpose, a questionnaire composed of two parts was applied on 570 attendees. Within the scope of the analysis, descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, Factor Analysis, Correlation Analysis, independent sample t-test, Anova analysis, Chi-square analysis, Kruskal Wallis-H and Jonckheere-Terpstra Testa analyses were used. PASW 18.0 packet program was used in the analysis of data acquired from the research. At the end of the research, it was found that views of attendees regarding the importance of sports activities physically and mentally differed by number of pregnancy, educational status, working in private or public sector and having experienced an abortion or curettage. Furthermore, it was determined that views that sports activities protected babies differed by attendees who experienced abortion or curettage and educational status; and experiencing abortion or curettage was independent from educational status. © Kamla-Raj 2018.Öğe An Evaluation of The Student’s Opinions on The Associate Degree Program in Home Management at The Department of Management and Organization of The Open Education Faculty at Anadolu University(GÜVEN PLUS GRUP DANIŞMANLIK A.Ş., 2015) Korkmaz, Murat; Yücel, Ali Serdar; Germir, Hatice Nur; Şahbudak, Ercan; Şen, Erdal; Karta, NurullahThis study aims to evaluate the students’ opinions about their Associate Degree Program in Home Management at the Department of Management and Organization of the Open Education Faculty at Anadolu University which offers distance education. For this purpose, a questionnaire with 33 questions was conducted with the participants of the study. The study firstly presents information on the aim, function, courses and the number of students of the Associate Degree Program in Home Management, which is an education program primarily for women. Then, the study addresses the topic of women in distance education in the world and in Turkey, provides statistical data on women and men regarding education and examines the positive and negative aspects of distance education for women. 796 participants, who were selected through random sampling method, took part in the study. Data obtained through the study were analyzed and assessed through the SPSS 20.00 software. Then, Independent Samples t-Test, ANOVA, Kruskal Wallis Test and Jonckheere-Terpstra Test were used in the analysis of the data. The study concluded that the demographic characteristics of the students (age, gender, income, occupation, place of residence etc.) varied to different degrees by the reasons for choosing the program, by the courses benefited in social life, in family relationships and in working life, by the opinions about the curriculum, by the use of computer and the Internet, and by the contribution of the program to getting a vocation, to developing oneself as an individual and to raising awareness about women’s rights.Öğe Examination of the Satisfaction Levels of Hemodialysis Patients(Taylor and Francis Ltd., 2017) Korkmaz, Murat; Yücel, Ali Serdar; ahbudak, Ercanª; Yildiz, Kaya; Yildiz, Sevilay; Karacabey, Sevcan; Sen, ErdalThe purpose of this study is to examine the satisfaction levels of patients who are being treated in hemodialysis unit in terms of different variables. A total of 222 patients were included in the research and they were being treated in nursing homes in the provinces of Istanbul, Sivas, Izmir, Ankara, Bolu, Gaziantep, Tekirdag and Diyarbakir. A questionnaire consisting of two parts was used as data gathering tool in the research. Reliability level of the scale items was tested and reliability coefficient (Cronbach Alpha) was found to be 0.933. It was derived from chi-square test, t-test and variance analysis techniques, frequency analysis, percentage and average values in the analysis of the acquired data. Furthermore, chi-square cross-table analysis was used in order to measure the satisfaction levels of individuals according to their demographic characteristics. At the end of the research, it was discovered that the satisfaction levels of the patients were low in general, and that dissatisfaction was on the highest level, especially in terms of information and as regards training. © 2017 Kamla Raj.
