Öğe The effect of transformational leadership style on the employee well-being: A cross-sectional study from Yemen(İstanbul Gelişim Üniversitesi Lisansüstü Eğitim Enstitüsü, 2024) Al Khouja, RehabThe purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between transformational leadership and the dimensions of employee well-being—life well-being, psychological well-being, and workplace well-being—and to test whether work-related stress mediates these relationships. To investigate the relationships between the variables, data were collected through an online survey distributed to 199 employees working in nonprofit organizations. The research data were tested using the partial least squares structural equation model (PLS-SEM) with the SmartPLS statistical software. The research results revealed that transformational leadership is negatively associated with work-related stress. Additionally, the findings indicated that work-related stress is not related to life well-being or psychological well-being; however, it is negatively associated with workplace well-being. Moreover, the study demonstrated that transformational leadership is positively associated with life well-being and workplace well-being but not with psychological well-being. Furthermore, the findings demonstrated that work-related stress does not mediate the relationship between transformational leadership and life well-being or psychological well-being; however, it partially mediates the relationship between transformational leadership and workplace well-being.
