Sürdürülebilir Üretim Göstergelerinin Kurumsal Sürdürülebilirlik Performansına Etkisinin Araştırılması

Abstract

Bu çalışmada sürdürülebilir üretim yaklaşımlarının, kurumsal sürdürülebilirlik performansına olan etkileri araştırılmıştır. Ayrıca, sürdürülebilir üretim yönetimine yönelik faaliyetlerin / uygulamaların, sürdürülebilirlik performansına olan etkilerini belirleyebilmek adına üretim göstergelerinin tespiti için bir alan çalışması yapılmıştır. Çalışmada sürdürülebilirlik üretim performansının, bulanık mantık yaklaşımı ile değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, öncelikle uygun değerlendirme göstergeleri (kriterleri) seçilmiştir. Daha sonra kriter ağırlıklarının bulunması için AHP yönteminden yararlanılmış ve son olarak da elde edilen kriter ağırlıkları da göz önünde bulundurularak ve bulanık mantık yaklaşımı kullanılarak sektörlerin sürdürülebilirlik performansı karşılaştırmalı şekilde incelenmiştir. Bu çalışmada, sürdürülebilirlik performansının sektörel bazlı değerlendirilmesinde kullanılan yöntemler; matematiksel yöntemler olduğu için objektif sonuçlar elde edilmiştir. Bu yüzden; bu tez çalışması bu yönüyle ilk olma özelliği taşımaktadır. Çalışmada veri toplama yöntemleri / teknikleri olarak; gerek göstergelerin ağırlıklarının hesaplanmasında gerekse sürdürülebilirlik performansının hesaplanmasında kullanılacak sayısal veriler, Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu' dan (TÜİK' den) temin edilmiştir (İkincil Veri Yöntemi). Ayrıca, hem AHP' de hem de bulanık mantık yönteminde gerekli olan uzman görüşleri; uzmanlar ile birebir yapılan görüşmeler sonucunda elde edilmiştir (Mülakat Yöntemi). Araştırmanın evrenini, imalat (sanayi) ve enerji sektörü oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmanın evren tespitinde BİST Sürdürülebilirlik Endeksi' nden yararlanılmıştır. Ayrıca, çalışmaya dâhil edilecek sürdürülebilir üretim göstergelerin tespitinde literatürde daha önceki çalışmalardan yararlanılmıştır. Kurumsal sürdürülebilirlik performansı; ekonomik, çevresel ve sosyal sürdürülebilirk performansları şeklinde üç boyut altında incelenmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda toplanan (elde edilen) veriler Matlab programında analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda; sürdürülebilir üretim yaklaşımlarının, imalat (sanayi) ve enerji sektörlerinin sürdürülebilirlik performansları üzerinde olumlu (pozitif) yönde etkilerinin olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca imalat sektörünün sürdürülebilirlik performansının, enerji sektörüne oranla daha iyi olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sektörlerde uygulanan sürdürülebilirlik faaliyetleri, özellikle çevre koruma konusunda istenilen gerekliliklerin en üst seviyede gerçekleştirilmesini sağlayabilmektedir ve söz konusu faaliyetler sektörlerin çevresel sürdürülebilirlik performansı üzerinde olumlu etkiler göstermektedir.

In this study, the effects of sustainable production approaches on corporate sustainability performance were investigated. In addition, a field study was carried out to determine the production indicators in order to determine the effects of the activities / practices related to sustainable production management on the sustainability performance. In this study, it is aimed to evaluate sustainability production performance with fuzzy logic approach. For this purpose, appropriate evaluation indicators (criteria) were selected first. Then, AHP method was used to find the criteria weights, and finally, the sustainability performance of the sectors was examined by using fuzzy logic approach by considering the criteria weights obtained. As data collection methods / techniques, Secondary Data Method and Interview Method were used in this study. The numerical data, which used in the calculation of the the weights of indicators and the calculation of the sustainability performance, was obtained from Turkey Statistical Institute (Secondary Data Method). In addition, the expert opinions required in both AHP and fuzzy logic method were obtained as a result of one-on-one interviews with experts (Interview Method). The universe of the research consists of manufacturing (industry) and energy sector. BIST Sustainability Index was used for the determination of the universe of the study. In addition, previous studies in the literature have been used to determine the sustainable production indicators that included in the study. Corporate sustainability performance is consist of economic, environmental and social sustainability performances. The data obtained in the study were analyzed in Matlab program. As a result of the research; sustainable production approaches have positive (positive) effects on sustainability performance of manufacturing (industry) and energy sectors. In addition, the sustainability performance of the manufacturing sector was found to be better than the energy sector. The sustainability activities implemented in the sectors can provide the highest level of fulfillment of the required requirements especially in the field of environmental protection and these activities have positive effects on the environmental sustainability performance of the sectors.
