Samuel Barclay Beckett (1906-1989)
Samuel Beckett (born April 13, 1906, Foxrock, County Dublin, Ireland died December 22, 1989. Paris, France) was an author, critic, and playwright, winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1969.
He is the second son of William and Mary Roc Beckett. He studies French and Italian at Trinity College in Dublin from 1923 to 1927. In 1927 he earns his BA degree.
