Erkeğin Başarı Trendinde Kadının Yeri ve Feminist Sosyal Hizmet Kuramı Açısından Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Kadın erkekler gibi bireysel, ailevi, sosyal, kültürel ve çalışma hayatı olarak bir takım rolleri olan bireydir. Toplumda her alanda etkin olması gereken kadının sürekli yaptığı ve pek hissedilmeyen önemli bir rolü de eşlerinin başarılı olmalarına verdikleri maddi ve manevi destek ve yaptıkları fedakârlıklardır. Erkeklerin çalışma azmi ve başarı trendinde kadınların itici güçleri, destek hizmetleri, bitmeyen sinerjileri, motive edici davranış ve eylemleri ciddi katkılar sağlamaktadırlar. Feminist sosyal hizmet, kadın haklarını savunan ve kadın-erkek eşitliği temel alan bir toplum inşası için hareket eden bir yaklaşımdır. Feminist yaklaşımlar kadının ihtiyaçlarını karşılamakla birlikte kadının eşine, topluma ve devlete olumlu etkilerini ortaya çıkarmaktadır. Bu makalenin amacı; erkeğin başarı sürecinde kadının nasıl bir etkide bulunduğu ve bu etkiyi hangi rollerle gerçekleştirdiğinin belirlenmesidir. Araştırmada feminist sosyal hizmet kuramı kapsamında erkeklerin başarılarında kadının etkin gücü ve bu güçten yararlanmanın önemi tartışılarak, “her başarılı erkeğin arkasında başarılı bir kadın vardır” düşüncesinin gerçeklik derecesi ölçülmek istenmiştir. Çalışma nitel ve nicel verilere dayalı alan araştırmasından oluşarak Sakarya Üniversitesi’nde çalışan 50 erkek akademisyene anket uygulanarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bulgulara göre; aile olmanın temel ruhunun sevgi ve dayanışma, erkeğin başarısının itici gücünün evlilikten memnuniyet, aile mutluluğu ve eş desteği olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Kadının gücünü kullanmasına imkân ve fırsat tanımak, her iki bireyin de başarısının artmasına katkı sağlayacaktır.

Women are individuals, just like men, with various roles in their individual, familial, social, cultural and professional lives. Women, who should be active in every area in the society, constantly give moral and material support to their spouses and make sacrifices, which goes unnoticed. Women significantly contribute to the determination and success of men with their driving force, support, ending synergy, motivating behavior and actions. Feminist social service is an approach advocating the rights of women and acting for the construction of a society based on the equality of men and women. Feminist approaches meet the needs of women as well as reveal the positive effects of women on the society and the state. The purpose of this study is to reveal the nature of the effect of women in the success of men and to determine the roles women play in this success. The study discusses the efficient power of women in the success of men and the importance of benefiting from this power within the framework of feminist social services theory. The study aims to test the validity of the saying “behind every successful man there is a successful woman”. The study consists of field research based on qualitative and quantitative data. A survey was conducted on 50 male academicians working in Sakarya University. According to the findings; love and solidarity is the key for being a family, and the driving force for the success of men are the satisfaction in the marriage, happiness in family life and support of their spouses. Allowing women to use their power will contribute to the success of both individual.
