Kripto Para Piyasalarında Yaşanan Güvenlik Sorunlarının Yatırımcı Davranışı Üzerindeki Etkisi: Muhasebe Öğrencilerine Yönelik Bir Araştırma

Abstract

Son zamanlarda blok zinciri teknolojisinin öneminin artması insanları bu yönde araştırma yapmaya itmiştir. Blok zinciri teknolojisinin hemen hemen tüm sektörlere entegre edilmesiyle finans ve muhasebe alanında pek çok yenilikler yaşanmıştır. Blok zinciri teknolojisinin getirdiği yeniliklerden birisi de kripto paralardır. Kripto para piyasasının yeni bir yapı olması nedeniyle çeşitli güvenlik sorunlarını da beraberinde getirmiştir. Gerek güvenlik açıkları, gerek kodlarda meydana gelecek olan problemler ve henüz çok fazla uzmanın olmaması risklerin doğmasına yol açmaktadır. Bu da kriptopara yatırımcılarının kararları açısından büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bu çalışmada blok zinciri teknolojisi altındaki kripto para piyasalarındaki güvenlik sorunlarının yatırımcı davranışları üzerindeki etkisini ortaya çıkarmak amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada öncelikle blokzinciri, kriptoparalar ve bualanlardaki güvenlik sorunları kavramsal olarak sunulmuş ve daha sonra konuya ilişkin literatür taraması sunulmuştur. Takip eden bölümde çalışma amacı kapsamında geleceğin potansiyel finansal danışmanları olan üniversitelerde muhasebe dersi alan 154 öğrenci üzerinde anket uygulanarak veri toplanmıştır. Çalışmada veriler SPSS 22.0 programıyla analiz edilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda yatırımcı davranışı ile cinsiyet, eğitim durumu, dolandırıcılık olayları hakkında bilgi, yatırımcı davranışı, yatırım karakteri ve yatırım yeteneği arasında anlamlı farklılıklar tespit edilmiştir.

Recently, the increasing importance of blockchain technology has pushed people to research in this direction. With the integration of blockchain technology into almost all sectors, many innovations have been experienced in the field of finance and accounting. One of the innovations brought by blockchain technology is cryptocurrencies. Since the crypto money market is a new structure, it has brought various security problems. Both security vulnerabilities, problems that will occur in the codes, and the lack of many experts yet lead to risks. This is of great importance for the decisions of cryptocurrency investors. In this study, it is aimed to reveal the effect of security problems in crypto money markets under blockchain technology on investor behavior. In the study, first of all, blockchain, cryptocurrencies and security problems in these fields are presented conceptually and then a literature review on the subject is presented. In the following section, data were collected by applying a questionnaire on 154 students who took accounting courses at universities, who are potential financial advisors of the future, within the scope of the study. In the study, the data were analyzed with the SPSS 22.0 program. As a result of the study, significant differences were found between investor behavior and gender, education level, knowledge about fraud events, investor behavior, investment character and investment ability.
