Toplumsal Değişim Bağlamında Al Gözüm Seyreyle Salih Romanı

Abstract

Bu makalede, Yaşar Kemal’in İstanbul üçlemesindeki ilk romanı Al Gözüm Seyreyle Salih’te toplumsal değişmenin izleri sürülmeye çalışılmıştır. Roman, bir Karadeniz kasabasındaki toplumsal değişimi liberal bir ekonomik düzene geçişle ilişkili olarak ele alır. Ekonomideki değişime paralel olarak kaçakçılığa göz yumulan kasabada, bazı insanlar bu yolla zenginleşerek yeni bir sınıf oluşturur. Bu durum, yeni sınıfın yeni değerler oluşturmasına yol açar. Çalışma hayatındaki ekonomik liberalleşme ve serbest piyasa ekonomisi ile yeni oluşan rant ekonomisi “toplumsal değişme” kavramı etrafında incelenmiştir. Konuyla ilgili farklı sosyologların görüşlerinden yararlanılmış, Yaşar Kemal’in toplum ile ilgili görüşlerine yer verilmiş, ardından ekonomik hayattaki değişimin aileden başlayarak toplumu kültürel olarak nasıl etkilediği üzerinde durulmuştur.

In this article, the traces of social change in Yaşar Kemal's first novel in the Istanbul trilogy, Al Gözüm Seyreyle Salih have been tried to be scrutinized. The novel deals with the social change in a Black Sea town in relation to the transition to a liberal economic order. In the town, where smuggling is tolerated in parallel with the change in the economy, some people get rich in this way and create a new class. This causes the new class to create new values. Economic liberalization and free market economy in working life and the newly formed rent economy have been studied around the concept of "social change". The views of different sociologists on the subject were used, Yaşar Kemal's views on society were included, and then, how the change in economic life affects society culturally, starting with the family, was emphasized.
