Sosyal ve toplumsal olayların finansal yapıya etkisi: Türkiye-Rusya krizi ve 15 temmuz olayı

Abstract

Ekonomik, toplumsal ve siyasal değişimler, Türkiye tarihinde toplumsal ve ekonomik düzeyde etkilerini somut şekilde hep hissettirmişlerdir. Gelir adaletsizliği, işsizlik, enflasyon, sermaye dağılımı gibi bileşenler ve bunlardaki eşitsizlik ülkenin kayda değer en öncelikli toplumsal ve ekonomik sorunları olmuştur. Bu çalışmada; Türkiye'de 1950 - 2017 yılları arasında yaşanmış ekonomik, sosyal ve siyasal değişimler üzerinde durulmuş ve bunların paralelinde meydana gelmiş finansal krizler ve toplumsal olaylar araştırılmıştır. Meydana gelmiş bu olgu ve olayları çözümleyebilmek için mevcut ekonomik sistem ve politikalarıyla değerlendirmeler yapılmıştır. Bu literatürel araştırma çerçevesinde özellikle güncel olayların kapsamları ve finansal yapıya etkileri test edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bilimsel araştırma teknikleriyle problemler ve hipotezler oluşturularak test edilmesi için metodoloji geliştirilmiştir. Çalışmada bütün ayrıntılar detaylıca incelenerek EVİews ekonometri paket programında VAR (Vektör Otoregresif) modeliyle analizler yapılmıştır. Birinci bölümde finansal sistem, finansal krizler ve Türkiye – Rusya ilişkileri incelenmiştir. Finansal krizler ve Türkiye – Rusya "Uçak Krizi"nin finansal yapıya etkileri araştırılmıştır. Ekonomik değişimler, siyasal değişimler ve toplumsal olaylar genel hatlarıyla ele alınmıştır. Gelir dağılımı, işsizlik, enflasyon ve sermaye dağılımındaki eşitsizlik çerçevesinde ekonomik değişimlere bakılmıştır. Türkiye siyasal hayatındaki değişimler, Taksim Gezi Parkı ve 15 Temmuz Kalkışması toplumsal olaylarına yer verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde de Türkiye – Rusya "Uçak Krizi" ve 15 Temmuz Kalkışması'nın ekonometrik bir uygulaması yapılmıştır. Bu uygulamada 2010 – 2017 yılları arası ekonomik veriler kullanılarak hipotezler oluşturulmuş ve VAR (Vektör Otoregresif) analiziyle test edilmiştir. Türkiye – Rusya "Uçak Krizi" ve 15 Temmuz Olayı ile CDS primleri, BIST100 getiri endeksi, sepet döviz kuru, kukla değişken, işsizlik oranı, net uluslararası rezervler, sanayi üretim endeksi, TÜİK tüketici güven endeksi ve enflasyon oranı serilerinden oluşan sistemde değişkenler arasında istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı ilişkiler bulunmuştur. Bu nedenle Türkiye'de meydana gelen sosyal ve toplumsal olayların ülke için belli riskler getirdiği ve finansal sistemi etkilediği gözlemlenmiştir.

Economic, social and political changes have always felt their effects on the social and economic level in Turkey. Components such as income inequality, unemployment, inflation, capital allocation and inequality have been the most prevalent social and economic problems of the country. In this thesis study; The economic, social and political changes that took place in Turkey between 1950 and 2017 were emphasized and the financial crises and social events that occurred in parallel were investigated. In order to analyze these phenomena and events that occured, they were evaluated with the existing economic systems and policies. In the context of this literature research, especially the coverage of current events and the effects on the financial structure have been tried to be tested. Problems and hypotheses were formed by scientific research techniques and methodology has been developed for testing. In the study, all the details were examined in detail and analyzed with the VAR (Vector Autoregressive) model with the EVİews econometric package program. In the first chapter, financial system, financial crises and Turkey - Russia relations were examined. Financial crises and financial structure effects of Turkey - Russia "Aircraft Crisis" were investigated. Economic changes, political changes and social events are discussed in general terms. Economic changes in income distribution, unemployment, inflation, capital allocation and inequality have been examined. It has also been examined Changes in Turkish political life, Taksim Gezi Park, and the July 15th coup attempt. In the second part, an econometric application of Turkey - Russia "Aircraft Crisis" and July 15th Movement was carried out. In this application, hypothesis was created using economic data between 2010 and 2017 and tested by VAR (Vector Autoregressive) analysis. It was found statistically significant relationships between the veriables in the sistem consisting of CDS premiums, BIST100 return index, basket exchange rate, dummy veriable, unemployment rate, net international reserves, industrial production index, TURKSTAT consumer confidence index and inflation rate with Turkey – Russia "Aircraft Crisis" and the July 15 Incident. It has been observed that the social events that take place in Turkey cause certain risks for the country and affect the financial system.
