COVİD-19 pandemisinin lojistik sektörüne etkileri: Türkiye'de faaliyet gösteren lojistik firmalarından örnekler

Abstract

Lojistik, küreselleşmenin etkisi ile dijitalleşmeye olan talebin artması ve sürekli artan genç nüfusa da paralel olarak önemi artarak gelişme gösteren genç bir sektördür. Türkiye konum itibariyle Ortadoğu ve Avrupa arasında köprü görevi sayesinde lojistik üssü olma niteliği taşımaktadır. 2019 yılının aralık ayında Çin'in Hubei eyaletinin Wuhan kentinde ortaya çıkan yeni koronavirüs salgını tüm dünyayı etkisi altına almış ve büyük salgın olarak adlandırılan bu dönem yalnızca insanların sağlığını etkilemekle kalmamış aynı zamanda salgının yayılmasıyla da uluslararası ticaret neredeyse durma noktasına gelmiştir. Covid -19 pandemi sürecinde sağlık ve lojistik gibi sektörlerin önemi daha çok anlaşılarak diğer sektörlerinde erişilebilirlik açısından değeri daha çok anlaşılmıştır. Bu süreçte insanlar günlük yaşantısında internet trafiği oluşturmuştur. Dünya konjonktüründe online uygulamalara geçişler sayesinde dijital dönüşüm kavramı benimsenerek süreçler sadeleşmiş ve işler daha hızlı bir şekilde gerçekleşmiştir. Bu çalışma kapsamında, Covid-19 pandemisinin lojistik sektörüne etkileri incelenmiş ve Türkiye'de faaliyet gösteren lojistik firmalarından pandeminin lojistik sektörüne etkileri ortaya konulmuştur.

Logistics is a young sector that is developing with increasing importance in parallel with the increasing demand for digitalization with the effect of globalization and the ever-increasing young population. Turkey is a logistics base ,because of-its position as a bridge between the Middle East and Europe. The new coronavirus epidemic, which emerged in Wuhan, China's hubei province in December 2019, affected the whole world, and this period, called the great epidemic, not only affected people's health, but also international trade came to a halt with the spread of the epidemic. In the Covid-19 pandemic process, the importance of sectors such as health and logistics has been understood more and its value in terms of accessibility in other sectors has been understood more. In this process, people created internet traffic in their daily lives. Thanks to the transition to online applications in the world conjuncture, the concept of digital transformation has been adopted and the processes have been simplified and the work has been carried out faster. Within the scope of this study, the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on the logistics sector were examined and the effects of the pandemic on the logistics sector, one of the logistics companies operating in Turkey, were revealed.
