Metaverse Evreninde Sağlık Hizmetleri

Abstract

Metaverse, kısaca yeni nesil internet, açık ve tipik değişim olarak ifade edilmektedir. Bu değişim Metaverse kullanıcılarının, sanal gerçeklik ve arttırılmış gerçeklik sağlamak için kafaya yerleştirilen cihaz aracılığıyla, sürükleyici ve etkileyici bir kazanım ile sanal dünyada bulunmalarını, farklı yerleri gezip görebilmelerini, çalışmalarını ve sosyalleşmelerine olanak sağlamaktadır. Gün geçtikçe popülerliğini arttıran Metaverse kavramının pek çok alana etki edeceği düşünülmektedir. Etkilemesi muhtemel alanlardan birisi de sağlık sektörüdür. Sağlık hizmetlerine yeni bir boyut kazandıracağı düşünülen kavram incelenmeye değer görülmüştür. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Metaverse evreninde sağlığın ve sağlık hizmetlerinin ne durumda olduğunun ya da olacağının tartışılmasıdır. Ayrıca meteverse’ün sağlık alanında muhtemel konuların ele alınmasıdır. Çalışma derleme niteliği taşımaktadır. Bu nitelikle çalışmada öncelikle Metaverse kavramından ve Metaverse’ün tarihçesinden söz edilmiştir. Daha sonra Metaverse ekosistemi ve barındırdığı teknolojilere, Metaverse’ün katmanlarına, özelliklerine ve diğer alanlarla olan ilişkisine yer verilmiştir. Son olarak Metaverse’ün sağlık alanı ile olan şimdiki ve gelecekteki ilişkisi tartışılmıştır. Metaverse ilişkin akademik araştırmalara bakıldığında sağlık hizmetlerinde verimliliğin artacağı, iş yükünün, maliyetin ve zaman kaybının azalacağı tahmin edilmektedir. Metaverse ile ilgili yapılan çalışmalar, Metaverse’ün tedavi, eğitim ve rehabilitasyon hizmetlerine olumlu etkilerinin olduğunu göstermiştir. Sonuç olarak sanal gerçekliğin sağlık alanında motive edici ve faydalı olduğu ifade edilebilir. Metaverse evreninde sağlık hizmetlerinin önemi bir konuma sahip olduğu, alandaki gelişimin sağlık sektörüne çeşitli olanaklar sunduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca, bu olanakların yakın gelecekte daha da artacağı düşünülmektedir.

Metaverse, briefly the new generation internet, is expressed as open and typical change. This change enables the users of the Metaverse to be in the virtual world, to visit different places, to work and socialize with an immersive and impressive gain through the device placed on the head to provide virtual reality and augmented reality. It is thought that the concept of the Metaverse, which is increasing its popularity day by day, will affect many areas. One of the areas likely to be affected is the health sector. The concept, which is thought to add a new dimension to health services, was deemed worthy of examination. The aim of this study is to discuss the state of health and health services in the Metaverse universe. It is also the consideration of possible issues in the health field of the Metaverse. The study is of a compilation nature. In this study, first of all, the concept of Metaverse and the history of Metaverse are mentioned. Then, the Metaverse ecosystem and its technologies, the layers of the Metaverse, the properties of the Metaverse and the relationship of the Metaverse with other areas are given. Finally, the current and future relationship of the Metaverse with the health field is discussed. Considering the academic researches on Metaverse, it is estimated that the efficiency in health services will increase and the workload, cost and time loss will decrease. Studies on the Metaverse have shown that the Metaverse has positive effects on treatment, education and rehabilitation services. As a result, it can be stated that virtual reality is motivating and beneficial in the field of health. It has been seen that health services have an important position in the Metaverse universe, and the development in the field offers various opportunities to the health sector. It is also thought that these opportunities will increase in the near future.
