Üniversite öğrencilerinde anne baba tutumunun eş seçimi ve çift uyumuyla ilişkisi

Abstract

Bu araştırma anne ve baba tutumlarının üniversite öğrencilerinin eş seçme stratejileri ile çift uyum üzerinde etkisini incelemek amacı ile yapılmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda araştırma modeli olarak tarama modeli tercih edilmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemini 2022-2023 yılı eğitim öğretim yılında İstanbul ili sınırları içerisindeki İstanbul Gelişim Üniversitesi'nde okuyan öğrenciler oluştururken, örneklem grubunu ise evren için tesadüfi olarak seçilen ayrıca araştırmaya katılmak için gönüllü olan 400 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Araştırmanın verilerinin toplanmasında, 'Anne- Baba Tutum Ölçeği', eş seçme stratejilerini ölçmek için 'Eş Seçme Stratejileri Envanteri', evlilik uyumunu ölçmek için 'Çift Uyum Ölçeği' ve katılımcılara dair bilgiler için araştırmacı tarafından oluşturulan 'Kişisel Bilgi Formu' kullanılmıştır. Toplanılan veriler SAS 9.4 programı kullanılarak iki kategorili değişkenler arasındaki ikili karşılaştırmalarda bağımsız gruplar arası t testi, üç veya daha fazla kategorili değişkenler arasındaki farklılıkları bulabilmek amacıyla Varyans Analizi (F testi) uygulanmıştır. Nicel tipteki değişkenler arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya koymak için Pearson korelasyon analizi yapılmıştır. Ölçek ve alt-boyutlarının güvenirlik katsayılarını hesaplamada Cronbach Alfa katsayısından yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucu doğrultusunda anne baba tutumlarının üniversite öğrencilerinin eş seçimi ile çift uyumu arasında etki gösterdiği görülmüştür. Üniversite öğrencilerinin anne baba tutumlarının çocukları üzerinde eş seçimi ile çift uyumu üzerinde anlamlı derecede farklılık gösterdiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

This research was conducted in order to examine the effect of maternal and paternal attitudes on the mate selection strategies of university students and couple adaptation. It has been concluded that the attitudes of parents of university students differ significantly on the choice of spouses on their children and on couple compatibility.
