Beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin mesleki benlik saygıları ile engellilere yönelik tutumlarının karşılaştırılması (Bağcılar ilçesi örneği)

Abstract

Yapılan çalışmada Beden Eğitimi Öğretmenlerinin Mesleki Benlik Saygıları ile Engellilere Yönelik Tutumlarının cinsiyet, yaş, eğitim durumu, mesleki tecrübe, bulunulan kurumda çalışma süresi, ailede engelli bireyin bulunma durumu, engellilere yönelik eğitim alma gibi değişkenlere göre karşılaştırılması hedeflenmiştir. Çalışmanın amacı doğrultusunda araştırmanın evrenini, İstanbul ili Bağcılar ilçesinde, 2022-2023 eğitim öğretim yılında, devlet ve özel okullarında görev yapan araştırmaya katılmaya gönüllü 84'ü kadın 136'sı erkek olmak üzere 220 beden eğitimi öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Bu araştırmada, nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden nedensel karşılaştırma modeli kullanılmıştır. Kullanılan örnekleme yöntemi ise çalışanların tamamının örnekleme girme şansının eşit ve tesadüfi olduğu, aynı zamanda araştırma sonuçlarının çabuk ve kolay bir şekilde ortaya konulmasını sağlayan basit tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemidir. Elde edilen veriler IBMM SPSS 25.0 paket programı aktarılarak analizler yapılmıştır. Normallik analizleri yapılarak non parametrik analizler uygulanmıştır. İstatistiksel analiz olarak Mann Whitney U, Kruskal Walls H ve Post-hoc analizleri uygulanmıştır. Sonuç olarak Mesleki benlik saygısı ile engellilere yönelik tutumda cinsiyet, çalışılan kurumda görev yapma süresinde ve engellilere yönelik eğitim alma değişkenlerine göre farklılaşmalar gözlemlenirken; yaşa, eğitim durumlarına, mesleki tecrübelerine ve ailede engelli birey olması değişkenlerine göre ise anlamlı farklılıklar bulunamamıştır.

In the study, it was aimed to examine the Professional Self-Esteems of Physical Education Teachers and their Attitudes towards the Disabled according to variables such as gender, age, education level, professional experience, working time in the institution, presence of a disabled person in the family, and receiving education for the disabled. In line with the purpose of the study, the universe of the research consists of 220 physical education teachers, 84 female and 136 male, who volunteered to participate in the research, working in public and private schools in the province of Bağcılar in the 2022-2023 academic year. In this study, the causal comparison model, one of the quantitative research methods, was used. The sampling method used is a simple random sampling method, in which all the employees have an equal and random chance of entering the sample, and at the same time, the research results are revealed quickly and easily. The obtained data were analyzed by transferring the IBMM SPSS 25.0 package program. Normality analyzes were performed and non-parametric analyzes were applied. As statistical analysis, Mann Whitney U, Kruskal Walls H analyzes were applied. As a result, while there are differences in professional self-esteem and attitudes towards the disabled, gender, the duration of working in the institution and the status of receiving education for the disabled; No significant differences were found according to age, educational background, professional experience and the presence of a disabled person in the family.
