Abstract

İGÜ Cyber Academy Project Launches with a Budget of 6.5 Million TL

- Istanbul Gelişim University (İGÜ) is initiating the "İGÜ Cyber Academy Project" with a budget of 6.5 million TL, in collaboration with and supported by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB). The project is financed by the Istanbul Development Agency (İSTKA).

Project Coordinator Dr. Serkan Gönen emphasized that the main goal of this significant project is to cultivate skilled individuals in the field of cyber security and to close the existing gap in this area. Dr. Gönen also noted that the project will simultaneously accelerate efforts to enhance Turkey's cyber security capabilities, making the country more resilient against cyber threats.
