Covid-19 pandemisinin hava kargo taşımacılığına etkilerinin analizi ve değerlendirmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada COVID-19 pandemisinin hava kargo pazarı üzerindeki etkisi incelenmekte ve söz konusu etkinin hava kargo piyasasını ve hava kargo işletmelerini nasıl etkilediği ele alınmaktadır. Bu kapsamda COVID-19 pandemisinin etkisini gösterdiği Mart 2020 itibarıyla hava kargo pazarının ve işletmelerinin COVID-19'dan nasıl etkilendiği, dünya genelinde yük ton kilometre (FTK), kargo ton kilometre (CTK), mevcut kargo ton kilometre (ACTK) ve yük faktörü (LF) verileri üzerinden analiz edilmektedir. Türkiye genelindeki etkisi ise Türk Hava Yolları (THY) ve Devlet Hava Meydanları İşletmesi (DHMİ) verileri üzerinden incelenmiştir. Çalışma dünyada ve Türkiye'de COVID-19'un hava kargo piyasası üzerindeki olumsuz ve olumlu etkileri ele alınmış, COVID-19 sonrası piyasanın ne tür bir gelişim seyredeceği tartışılmıştır.

In this study, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the air cargo market is supposed to be determined, and how this pandemi affects the air cargo market and air cargo airlines. In this context, starting from the March 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic took effect, how the air cargo market and businesses were affected by COVID-19 throughout 2020 was determined by analyzing the data of (freight ton kilometers) FTK, cargo ton kilometers (CTK), available cargo ton kilometers (ACTK) and load factors (LF) in worldwide. Throughout Turkey, the mentioned analysis has been carried out through THY and DHMİ data. The study has been carried out in terms of the effects of COVID-19 both in the world and in Turkey, the negative and positive effects on the air cargo market have been discussed, and in the conclusion section, what kind of a course development will follow after COVID-19 was discussed.
