Elit düzeydeki okçuların kendileriyle konuşma düzeyleri ile atış performansları arasındaki ilişkinin bazı değişkenlere göre incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu tezde elit düzeydeki okçuların bazı değişkenlere göre kendileriyle konuşma düzeyleri ile atış performansları arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmaya, elit düzeyde 113 kadın ve 129 erkek olmak üzere toplam 242 okçu gönüllü olarak katılmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan okçular, makaralı yay (n=100) ve klasik yay kategorisinde yarışan (n=142), 102'si Milli Takımda yer almış sporculardır. Araştırmanın amacına ulaşabilmek için, Zervas, Stavrou ve Psychountaki (2007) tarafından geliştirilen, Türkçe uyarlaması Engür (2011) tarafından yapılan Kendinle Konuşma Ölçeği ve araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan Kişisel Bilgi Formu kullanılmıştır. Çalışmamıza ait veri toplama sürecinin sonunda, sağlıklı tahminler üretilmesine imkan sağlayacak yeterli sayıda örneklem hacminin belirlenmesi gerektiği düşünülerek, istatistiksel güç analizi yapılmış olup, analiz aşamasında GPOWER 3.1 paket programı kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada elde edilen veriler SPSS17 paket programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin çözüm ve yorumlanmasında Korelasyon, Kruskal Wallis ve Mann Whitney U testleri kullanılmıştır. Sonuçlar yorumlanırken anlamlılık düzeyi p<0,05 olarak belirlenmiştir. Bu araştırmanın sonucunda, araştırmaya katılan okçuların cinsiyet, spor yaşı ve milli sporcu olma değişkenleri açısından kendileriyle konuşma düzeylerinde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark olduğu, ayrıca cinsiyet değişkenine göre okçuların atış performansları ile kendileriyle konuşma düzeyleri arasında zayıf, ancak pozitif yönde bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

This thesis aims to examine the relationship between the level of self-talk with elite archers according to some variables and their shooting performance. A total of 242 elite-level archers, 113 women, and 129 men, voluntarily participated in the study. The archers participating in the study are the athletes competing in the compound bow (n = 100) and recurve bow categories (n = 142) and 102 of them were in the National Team. In the study, the Self-Talk Scale developed by Zervas, Stavrou, and Psychountaki (2007) and adapted to Turkish by Engür (2011) and the Personal Information Form prepared by the researcher were used. At the end of the data collection process of our study, the statistical power analysis was carried out considering the need to determine a sufficient number of sample groups that will allow producing healthy predictions, and the GPOWER 3.1 package program was used in the analysis phase. The data obtained in the study were analyzed with the SPSS17 package program. Correlation, Kruskal Wallis, and Mann Whitney U tests were used in the solution and interpretation of the data. While interpreting the results, the significance level was determined as p <0.05. As a result of this study, it was determined that there is a statistically significant difference in the levels of self-talk with them in terms of gender, sports age, and being a national athlete, and there is a weak but positive correlation between the shooting performance of the archers and their level of speaking with them according to the gender variable.
