Lojistik sektörü çalışanlarında koronavirüs (Covid-19) korkusunun lojistik performansına etkisi: İstanbul ili örneği

Abstract

Bu tezin amacı, lojistik, Covid-19 salgını ve bilgi teknolojilerindeki gelişmelerin lojistik sektöründeki çalışanlar üzerindeki etkilerini incelemektir. Bu kapsamda, Bu çalışmada lojistik sektöründe faaliyet gösteren şirketlerin pandemi döneminin olumsuzluklarından nasıl etkilendiği ve oluşan sorunlara karşı alınabilecek önlemlerin neler olabileceği araştırılacaktır. Bu araştırmanın soru cümlesi; korona virüs (Covid-19) salgını, lojistik işletmelerinin performansını etkiler mi? şeklide ifade edilebilir. İstanbul Avrupa yakasında faaliyet gösteren toplamda 83 adet Uluslararası yük ve eşya taşıyan lojistik işletmelerinde çalışman toplam 35.844 kişi evrenini oluşturmuştur. Anketin ilk bölümünde demografik bilgileri almaya yönelik sorular, ikinci bölümde işletmelerin lojistik performansı düzeyini belirlemeyi amaçlayan, "Lojistik Performansı Ölçeği" ve üçüncü bölümde çalışanların Koronavirüs'ten (Covid-19) etkilenme düzeyini belirlemeyi amaçlayan, "Koronavirüs (Covid-19) Korkusu Ölçeği" yer almıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda: Psiko-sosyal etkilerin çalışanların lojistik performansı üzerinde; duygusal tepkilerin çalışanların lojistik performansı üzerinde ve Covid-19 bulaşma kaygısının; çalışanların lojistik performans üzerinde olumlu yönde bir etkisi olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

The aim of this thesis is to examine the effects of logistics, Covid-19 pandemic and developments in information technologies on employees in the logistics sector. In this context, in this study, it will be investigated how companies operating in the logistics sector are affected by the negative effects of the pandemic period and what measures can be taken against the problems that occur. The question sentence of this research is; Does the coronavirus (covid-19) outbreak affect the performance of logistics businesses? can be expressed as A total of 35,844 people working in 83 logistics companies operating on the European side of Istanbul, carrying international cargo and goods, constituted the universe. In the first part of the questionnaire, questions about obtaining demographic information, in the second part the "Logistics Performance Scale", which aims to determine the level of logistics performance of the enterprises, and in the third part, the "Coronavirus (Covid-19) Fear Scale", which aims to determine the level of impact of the employees from the Coronavirus (Covid-19). has taken place. As a result of the analyzes: Psycho-social effects on the logistics performance of the employees; It has been determined that emotional reactions have a positive effect on the logistics performance of the employees and the Covid-19 contamination anxiety has a positive effect on the logistics performance of the employees.
