Sokaklarda çalışan çocukların toplum üzerindeki etkileri ve sorunlarının belirlenmesi: İstanbul Fatih örneği

Abstract

Sokakta çalışma olgusu hem Türkiye'de hem de dünyada giderek yaygınlaşan toplumsal bir sorun olarak görülmektedir. Sokakta çalışma günümüzde özellikle çocuklar üzerinde görülen ciddi bir sorundur. Özellikle ekonomik durumu iyi olmayan ailelerde bu durum daha çok görülmektedir. Bu nedenle çocuklar sokaklarda çalıştıkları süre içerisinde ciddi tehlike ve risklerle karşı karşıya gelmektedir. Bu araştırmanın amacı sokakta çalışan çocukların toplum üzerindeki etkileri ve karşılaştıkları sorunların belirlenmesidir. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmış, toplam 50 çocuktan oluşan örneklem grubu görüşme tekniği ile araştırılmıştır. Araştırmada yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmış ve veriler içerik analizi yöntemi ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucuna göre sokakta çalışan çocukların toplum açısından ciddi bir sorun olarak nitelendirilmesine ve çocukların ciddi tehlike ve risklerle karşı karşıya oldukları tespit edilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlar doğrultusunda sokakta çalışan çocukların durumlarının düzeltilmesi ve geliştirilmesi için önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

The phenomenon of working on the street is seen as an increasingly common social problem both in Turkey and around the world. Working on the street is a serious problem that is especially seen on children today. This is especially common in families with good economic conditions. Therefore, children face serious dangers and risks during their time working on the streets. In this context, the aim of the research is to determine the effects of children working on the street on society and the problems they face. In the study, qualitative research methods were preferred and a total of 50 street children were interviewed. Semi-structured interview form was used in the research and the data were analyzed by content analysis method. According to the results of the research, it was determined that children working on the street are considered a serious problem for society and that children face serious dangers and risks. In line with the results obtained, recommendations have been made to correct and improve the situation of children working on the street.
