Abstract

The 2nd International DIY Workshop Symposium was held in Afyonkarahisar with the cooperation of Istanbul Gelisim University, Afyonkarahisar Provincial Directorate of National Education and Zafer Kalkınma Ajansı (Zafer Development Agency). A total of 76 papers, 8 of which being from abroad, were presented at the symposium. Along with the authors who contributed directly or indirectly, a total of 135 presenters attended the event. The event appeared in local and national press, as it was a very important step made towards the internationalization of education. In this context, significant effects are expected at the point of joining forces national education and academic community in Turkey.
