dc.description.abstract | The coronavirus, officially known also COVID-19, was first detected in December 2019 in Wuhan, China. This
date could be considered as one of the important milestones for the Business World for this century. All sectors of
the economy were affected at varying rates by the devastating impact of the pandemic. Problems in supply
chains, fluctuating demand, shortage of inputs, and forced closures are among the main problems experienced by
the business world. The business world has successfully managed its operations and production under intense
uncertainty. Success has been achieved through process changes in education, transportation, innovation,
collaborations, and the working environment. This provides important information about business trends.
Digitalization, virtualization, sustainability, information security, and master data management are among the
topics that are likely to be trends in 2022. Together with its sub-disciplines, artificial intelligence technologies are
expected to be one of the technologies that will remain popular in 2022. Google CEO Sundar Pichai predicted that
the impact of artificial intelligence on humanity would be above fire and electricity. Artificial intelligence will have a
significant impact in 2022. We will see a number of trends related to artificial intelligence in 2022. The first one is
the enhanced workforce. Supporting the workforce with machines and robots is essential for a number of
