Abstract

Dergimizin değerli okuyucuları, Yayın hayatına yeni atılan dergimizin ikinci sayısında sizlerle birlikte olmanın heyecanını yaşıyoruz. Uluslararası hakemli olarak yayınlanmaya başlayan dergimize olan ilginin yoğunluğu bize mutluluk vermektedir. Bunun yanında dergimize gönderilen makalelerin giderek nicelik ve nitelik yönünden gelişme göstermesi mutluluğumuzu daha da artırmaktadır. Okuyucu kitlemizin artışının giderek daha fazla yazarın dergimize ilgisini artıracağının ve bizi daha nitelikli olmaya zorlayacağının farkındayız. Ayrıca dergimizin çok dilli olmasının yabancı dili İngilizce dışında olan akademisyenlere bir fırsat yarattığını düşünmekteyiz. Nitekim bu anlayışımızın akademisyenler arasında fazlasıyla dikkate alındığını görmekteyiz. Dergimizin sayılarında daha fazla makaleye yer vermek istememize rağmen, dergi formatından uzaklaşmak istemememiz nedeniyle en fazla sekiz makale yayımlayabiliyoruz. Bu nedenle hakem sürecinden geçmiş olsa bile yer darlığı nedeniyle yayımlayamadığımız birçok makale bulunmaktadır. Bu makaleler derginin sonraki sayılarında yayımlanmak üzere sıraya alınmaktadır. Değerli “Sosyal Bilimler Dergisi” okuyucuları, Bu sayımızda ilgiyle okuyacağınız sekiz makale ve iki kitap incelemesi bulunmaktadır. Bu sayıya makale, kitap incelemesi ve tanıtımı gönderen değerli akademisyen ve araştırmacılara, kıymetli vakitlerini makaleleri incelemeye ayıran hakem heyetine, dergi yayın ve danışma kurulu üyelerine, yazı kuruluna ve emeği geçen herkese teşekkür eder, bir sonraki sayıda buluşmak üzere hepinize saygılar sunarım. Dear Journal of Social Sciences readers, We are so happy and enthusiastic about presenting the second issue of our newly-introduced journal. It is bliss to see such an interest in our journal which has been started to issue with international peer-reviewers. Moreover, the considerable improvement both in terms of quality and quantity of the articles submitted to our journal for evaluation makes us happier. Besides the increase in the number of our readers, the fact that the increase in the number of authors showing interest to our Journal compels us to be more qualitative. Furthermore, we believe that the multilingual acceptance of the articles have a positive impact on this increase of interest. Although we would like to publish more articles in the issues of our journal; we are able to publish maximum eight articles according to the decision of the Editorial Board, due to the facts that we take into consideration of our readers and that we do not want to be alienated from the journal format. Thus, there are many other articles, which we cannot publish in this issue, considering the total page number of journal, even if they are approved by our referees. These articles will be published in following issues. Dear “Journal of Social Sciences” readers, Our 2nd issue consists of eight articles and two book reviews, all of which you will read with a great attention. I’d like to thank the esteemed academicians and researchers who sent articles and book reviews, and also the referees who reviewed the articles by spending their valuable time. I would also like to thank to the members of Advisory Board and of Publication Board, and the staff who contributed to our journal.
