Abstract

The plenary meeting of International Centre of Research and Information on the Public, Social and Cooperative Economy (CIRIEC) where some of the members of the cooperative organizations from Turkey also attended was held at Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU). CIRIEC is a non-governmental organization with the committee in Turkey represented by IGU, consisting of experts and academics. It aims to create a public, social or cooperative economy that can be an alternative to the liberal market economy, collaborates with scientific studies and professionals, and also conducts various European Union projects.
