Vsble but Untouchable: Rethnkng Belongng n the Age of Lqud Modernty As we move through the digital age, we find ourselves in a society exhausted by the constant demand to stay connected. In a time when establishing contact has become so effortless, we have paradoxically grown lonelier. Among the endless streams of social media, the faces and names that pass before our eyes rarely result in meaningful encounters. As everyday life becomes confined to screens, the simple acts of looking one another in the eye, of sharing a moment of silence, or even just being silently present with someone, have been replaced by the noise of notifications. This crowd-filled silence may be what isolates us the most. Social isolation is no longer merely a physical separation; it has become a mental, emotional, and even existential rupture.
