Süreyya İMRE The Department of Management Information Systems The United Nations' Technology and Innovation Report of 2021 provides up-to-date information on today's frontier technology trends. Frontier technologies can be listed as Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Big Data, Blockchain, 5G, 3D, Robotics, Drones, Gene Editing, NanoTechnology, and Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Technology. It is estimated that rapidly developing frontier technologies will reach a market share of over $3.2 trillion by 2025. Among all frontier technologies, it is forecasted that by 2025 the Internet of Things (IoT), Robotics Technology, and Solar Photovoltaic Technology will have the largest market shares in terms of revenues.
