Defining ART/icle: Art and Design Journal as a journal that brings a new breath to the field of fine arts with its dynamic and innovative structure", the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Chairman of the Editorial Board, Prof. Dr. S. Güzin ILICAK AYDINALP shared her views on the first issue of the journal as follows: “As the Istanbul Gelisim University Faculty of Fine Arts family, we are proud to publish a new journal in the field of art and design. Our journal, in which double-blind refereeing system is used, aims to fill the gaps in the literature with the participation of academicians who are experts in their fields, with the aim of contributing to both national and international literature. ART/icle Journal, with its dynamic and innovative structure, expects original and creative studies that will contribute to the field and comply with scientific standards. As Istanbul Gelişim University Faculty of Fine Arts, we look forward to your efforts to contribute to national and international literature.”
