IGU Faculty of Fine Arts New and Events Bulletin (Issue: 66, December 2025)

Abstract

FACULTY OF FINE ARTS 48TH AWARD! Students from the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) won a gold medal at the 22nd International Istanbul Gastronomy Festival (International Istanbul Culinary Days), one of Turkey's most prestigious gastronomy events. The 22nd International Istanbul Gastronomy Festival (International Istanbul Culinary Days), one of Turkey's most prestigious gastronomy events, is taking place at the Istanbul Bahçelievler Congress Center between December 17-20, 2025. Organized for 21 years by the Turkish Chefs and Cooks Federation (TAŞFED), the festival is once again making headlines this year with its event that brings together chefs, academics, and gastronomy students from all over the world. As part of the festival, our Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department students put their theoretical and practical knowledge into practice by competing in the "University Level Modern Turkish Cuisine Team Competition" category.
