New Sports Technology That Increases Reaction Time Through Brain Stimulation Transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS), used to improve reaction times in athletes, has become a noteworthy neurotechnological method in performance science in recent years. This method, which increases neural excitability by applying lowintensity electrical current to the motor cortex, stands out particularly for its potential to support speed, agility and decision-making skills.
