dc.description.abstract	OHS & ERGONOMICS & ANTHROPOMETRY With the changes in working life, the working environment, methods and forms are also changing. This situation causes the scope of occupational health and safety studies to expand day by day, and therefore, it is necessary to integrate different disciplines into this work area. From this point of view, it can be said that one of the fields needed is the Science of Ergonomics. Ergonomics; It helps the production of the working environment, workplaces, machinery and equipment used in accordance with the physical and psychological limits of the human being. In this way, both the health and safety of the employees and the efficiency of the production can be ensured. Ergonomics makes use of anthropometric data while ensuring the harmony of human and work. The data obtained from the science of anthropometry, which is the science of determining and using human body measurements by technical means, forms the basis of ergonomics. Among the anthropometric data, the maximum value points that the employee's body can take while standing and sitting, such as height, weight, muscle-fat ratio in their body, arm and leg length, shoulder and hip width, hand-arm length are measured. With these data obtained, an average value is found and the human body proportions of that society can basically be determined.	en_US
