Abstract

Top 30 Achievement in the TEKNOFEST Advanced Autonomous Systems Competition Our team, which participated in the Advanced Autonomous Systems Design and Operation Competition organized within the scope of TEKNOFEST, achieved significant success by ranking among the top 30 teams in the competition. With this result, the team was invited to the report evaluation and drone flight test stage, which will be held in Adıyaman between September 21–25, 2026. The competition aims to enable fixed-wing UAVs and unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) to operate fully autonomously and in coordination in post-disaster scenarios. It covers technical areas such as joint mission execution by UAVs and UGVs, image processing, route planning, wireless data transmission, and system integration. The developed solutions are tested under realistic field conditions, and their mission performance is evaluated. Our team’s next goal is to successfully complete the report evaluation and drone flight test stages, rank among the top 20 teams, and continue its TEKNOFEST journey to the next stage. We congratulate our team members on this achievement and wish them success in the upcoming stages of the competition.
