Transition Process to Turkish Literature in the Republican Era - Turkish literature, one of the oldest, most established and rich literatures in the world, has progressed in three branches until today. The first of these can be stated as Pre-Islamic Turkish Literature, the second as Turkish Literature Developing Under the Influence of Islam, and the last one as Turkish Literature Developing under the Influence of Western Literature. There are two periods in Turkish literature that developed under the influence of Western literature; It can be thought that the Republic period was the period that prepared Turkish literature for the transition to Turkish literature. When it is necessary to talk about the transition process to Turkish literature in the Republican period, the previous periods of Turkish literature should also be mentioned. These processes are the literature of the National Literature Movement and the War of Independence Period.
