Abstract

Scientific Research Projects Information Meeting Held at the Faculty of Health Sciences An information meeting for the academic staff of the Faculty of Health Sciences was delivered by Asst. Prof. Serap YEŞİLKIR BAYDAR, Coordinator of Scientific Research Projects at Istanbul Gelisim University. The meeting covered research and application centers, BAP application and implementation processes, funding opportunities and grant amounts, relevant legislation, the activities of the Coordination Office, and expectations regarding the Faculty's research activities. An information meeting for the academic staff of Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) Faculty of Health Sciences was delivered by Asst. Prof. Serap Yeşilkır Baydar, Coordinator of Scientific Research Projects. Held in Classroom E210 in A Block between 10:00 and 12:00, the meeting provided comprehensive information on how scientific research activities conducted within the University can be more effectively supported and transformed into structured research projects. One of the major topics addressed during the meeting was the role of the University's Application and Research Centers in scientific research processes. Opportunities for transferring the academic and technical capacity of these centers into research projects, developing cooperation between faculties and research centers, and increasing interdisciplinary studies were discussed. Expectations regarding the Faculty of Health Sciences were also presented, particularly in relation to making more effective use of its research potential and transforming existing academic studies into project-based outputs.
