Abstract

4th Faculty of Applied Sciences End-of-Term Exhibition Opens! The “4th Faculty of Applied Sciences Exhibition, ” organized by the Faculty of Applied Sciences (FAS) of Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU), was held on May 14-15, 2026, in the J Block Foyer Area with a large turnout. The exhibition, featuring applied and interdisciplinary works prepared by faculty students throughout the semester, attracted great interest from visitors. Refreshments prepared by students from the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department also added color to the event. The exhibition was opened with a speech by the Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Kamil Kaya. In his speech, Prof. Dr. Kamil Kaya stated that the works in the exhibition were the result of the guidance of faculty members and the efforts of the students, and that the organization was an important platform contributing to the development of students' production skills and the transformation of their academic work into tangible results.
