Abstract

Istanbul Gelisim University Fortifies Its Global Visibility Through Sustainability-Oriented International Academic Achievements In alignment with its overarching objective to contribute significantly to international scholarly discourse in the realms of sustainable development, green economy, and circular business models, Istanbul Gelisim University steadfastly continues to augment its scientific productivity and consolidate its visibility across global academic platforms. Within this framework, the international conference held in Bali, Indonesia, themed “Green Economy and Circular Business Models for Sustainable Development” (MBE 2026), has constituted a seminal venue for scientific interaction and institutional representation on behalf of our university. While numerous scholars represented Istanbul Gelisim University at the conference, Prof. Dr. Kenan Aydın, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative, and Social Sciences, distinguished himself as an invited Keynote Speaker. In his address, Prof. Dr. Aydın drew critical attention to the strategic imperatives of the “ green economy ” approach in the face of intensifying global environmental and economic crises, emphasising that sustainable business models are not merely ecological necessities but foundational pillars of long-term economic stability.
