Abstract

FOR AN ACCESSIBLE WORLD, AN EQUAL FUTURE December 3rd, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, declared by the United Nations in 1992, is celebrated annually worldwide to encourage the full and effective participation of individuals with disabilities in social life, to draw attention to the problems they face, and to develop solutions. This special day is not only a call to raise awareness; it is also a call to protect the human rights of individuals with disabilities and ensure equal opportunities.
