Abstract

VISIT TO OUR INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT BY THE CHAMBER OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERS Representatives from the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers visited the Department of Industrial Engineering at Istanbul Gelişim University on October 5, 2026. During the meeting, various topics aimed at enhancing cooperation between the university and the professional chamber were discussed, with a focus on joint initiatives that could contribute to the academic and professional development of students. The visit included an exchange of ideas regarding potential protocols and institutional collaborations between the Department of Industrial Engineering at Istanbul Gelişim University and the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers. In this context, the parties evaluated initiatives designed to help students build stronger ties with the industry, improve their professional competencies, and become better prepared for their postgraduation careers.
