18-65 Yaş Arası Kişilerin Antropometrik Verilerinin Belirlenmesi Üzerine Bir Alan Araştırması: Yükseköğretim Kurumu Uygulaması

Abstract

Zaman ilerledikçe ve yeni nesiller ortaya çıktıkça insan hayatındaki pek çok ürün, araç-gereç, teknolojik makineler gibi ihtiyaçlar da çeşitlenmektedir. Bu durum sürekli yeniyi üretmeyi, ihtiyaca cevap vermeyi ve bunun yanında üretilenlerden de fiziksel olarak memnun kalmanın sağlanması çalışmalarını da gerektirmektedir. Bu değişimler göz önünde tutulduğunda ihtiyaç duyulan alanların başında Ergonomi olduğu açıktır. Ergonomi, çalışma ortamının, iş yerlerinin, kullanılan makine ve ekipmanların insanın fiziksel ve psikolojik sınırlarına uygun olarak üretilmesini antropometrik çalışmalarla gerçekleştirmektedir. Tamamlanan bu araştırma, en güncel haliyle Türkiye’deki durumu ortaya koymak, üniversitelerde antropometrik çalışmaların bilinmesinin sağlayabileceği faydaları ortaya çıkarmak ve bu verilerin nerelerde kullanılabileceği konusunda öneri getirmektedir. Çalışmada alınan ölçümler üniversite kampüsünde öğrencilere, idari ve akademik olmak üzere 18-65 yaş arası 798 kişiye uygulanmıştır. Ölçüm noktalarının belirlenebilmesi için postür türüne (ayakta) göre fotoğraflar çekilmiş ve bu veriler elektronik ortama aktarılarak AutoCad programı ile ölçülmüştür. Her kişi için 16+2 (tanımlayıcı veri) adet veri belirlenmiştir. Antropometrik ölçümlerin çalışmanın amacına uygun şekilde yorumlanabilmesi için SPSS analiz programı kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler incelendiğinde kadın ve erkeklerin vücut ölçülerinin birbirinden farklı olduğu, aynı cins grupların içerisinde yaşa göre bile farklılık olduğu saptanmıştır.

As time progresses and new generations emerge, the needs of many products, tools, and technological machines in human life also diversify. This situation necessitates the efforts of constantly producing the new, responding to the needs, as well as ensuring physical satisfaction with the obtained products. Considering these changes, it is clear that Ergonomics is one of the areas needed. Ergonomics realizes the production of the working environment, workplaces, machinery and equipment used in accordance with the physical and psychological limits of human beings with anthropometric studies. This completed research presents the situation in Turkey in its most up-to-date form, reveals the benefits of awareness of anthropometric studies at universities, and offers suggestions on where these data can be used. The measurements taken in the study were applied to 798 persons aged between 18-65 including students, administrators and academics in the university campus. To determine the measurement points, photographs were taken according to the posture type (standing) and these data were transferred to electronic media and measured with the AutoCad program. 16+2 data (descriptive data) were determined for each person. SPSS analysis program was used to interpret anthropometric measurements in accordance with the purpose of the study. When the data obtained were examined, it was determined that the body measurements of men and women were different from each other, and there were differences even in the same sex groups according to age.
