Korona virüs (COVID-19) rahatsızlığı geçiren işitme kayıplı hastalarda işitme cihazı fitting ayarlarında değişimin gözlenmesi

Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, ülkemizi etkisi altına alan koronavirüs birçok alanı olumsuz etkilemiş bu sebeple bizde cihazlı hastalarımızın korona virüs sonrası cihaz programlanmalarında değişim olup olmadığını virüsün etkisini değerlendirmektir. Yöntem: Hastalara ait genel bilgiler Çalışmanın yapıldığı işitme merkezi hasta arşivinden alındı. Çalışmaya katılan 15 birey (8 erkek, 7 bayan) katıldı. Tüm katılımcıların yaşları 30-65 arasında değişmekte ve ortalama yaş 69,73±10,05 idi. Tek taraflı işitme cihazı kullanan bireyler çalışmaya dâhil edildi. İşitme cihazı kullanan bireylere KBB muayenesinden sonra saf ses odyometri, immitansmetrik inceleme testleri yapılarak işitme kaybının tipi ve derecesi belirlendi. Hastalık öncesi fitting ayarıyla hastalık sonrası fitting ayarları karşılaştırıldı. Bulgular: Saf ses ortalamalarından açık bir şekilde işitme kaybının ilerlediği gözlenmiştir. İşitme testinden sonra MPO su değişen hastalarda anlamlı sonuç gözlenmemiştir. Sonuç: Hastalar üzerinde yapılan çalışmalar ve fittingler'de yapılanlara göre yüksek, orta ve hafif kazançlarda gözle görülür bir artış dB cinsinden gözlenmiştir. Anlamlı sonuçlar gözlenmiştir.

Aim: The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of the virus, whether there is a change in the device programming of our patients with devices after the corona virus, because the coronavirus, which has affected our country, has negatively affected many areas. Methods: General information about the patients were obtained from the patient archive of the hearing center where the study was conducted. Fifteen individuals (8 men, 7 women) participated in the study. The ages of all participants ranged between 30-65 years and the mean age was 69.73±10.05 years. Individuals using a single-sided hearing aid were included in the study. After the ENT examination, pure tone audiometry and immitansmetric examination tests were performed on individuals using hearing aids, and the type and degree of hearing loss were determined. The pre-illness fitting setting was compared with the post-illness fitting setting Result: It was observed that the hearing loss progressed clearly from the pure tone averages. No significant results were observed in patients whose MPO water changed after the hearing test. Conclusion: A noticeable increase in high, medium and light gains was observed in dB compared to studies performed on patients and fittings. Significant results have been observed.
