Pediatrik Grupta Dil ve Konuşma Değerlendirme Testleri

Abstract

Pediatrik grupta, normal gelişim gösteren çocuklarda işitme, dil ve konuşma gelişiminin aşamalarını bilmek, bu becerilerdeki bozukluk ya da gecikmelerin ayırt edilmesinde yol gösterici olmaktadır. İşitme kaybı varlığında, kaybın erken dönemde saptanması ve uygun müdahalelerin gerçekleştirilmesiyle çocuğunun normale yakın bir gelişim süreci geçirmesi sağlanır. Uygun müdahalelerin içeriğinde çocuğun yaşına, gelişim sürecine uygun işitme ve dil eğitimleri bulunmaktadır. Erken tanılanan, erken cihazlandırılan çocuklar için işitme ve dil gelişim seviyelerine uygun eğitim programları olmazsa olmazdır. İşitme ve dil eğitimi ile çocuğun ifade edici ve alıcı dilini geliştirmesi desteklenir. Dil ve konuşmayı değerlendiren testler ile, yapılan bu müdahalelerin ve rehabilitatif yaklaşımların faydasını ve çocuğun mevcut gelişim düzeyini belirlemede, tanıya gitmede kullanışlı ve pratik değerlendirme ölçütleri sağlanmış olur. Dil ve konuşmayı değerlendirme testlerinin multidisipliner çalışmalarda kullanımı, çocuğun gelişiminin farklı yönleriyle ve detaylıca değerlendirilmesini, bu değerlendirmelerin bilimsel çalışmalara ışık tutmasını sağlayacaktır. Dil ve konuşmayı değerlendirme testleri ile çocuğun alıcı ve ifade edici dili değerlendirilebildiği gibi, belirli dil gelişimsel bozukluklara yönelik olarak yapılan afazi, kekemelik gibi durumları değerlendirmek üzere geliştirilmiş testler de mevcuttur. Bu derlemede pediatrik grupta kullanılan dil ve konuşmayı değerlendirme testlerine odaklanılmıştır. Bu bağlamda Türkçe Erken Dil Gelişimi Testi, Türkçe İfade Edici ve Alıcı Dil Testi, Türkçe Okul Çağı Dil Gelişim Testi, Okul Öncesi Dil Ölçeği, Resim Kelime Tanıma Testi, Ankara Artikülasyon Testi, Erken Okuryazarlık Testi, Türkçe Sesletim ve Sesbilgisi Testi, Kekemelik Şiddeti Değerlendirme Aracı ve Afazi Dil Değerlendirme Testi’ne değinilmiştir. Bu araştırma aracılığıyla, bu testlerin amaçları, uygulanacağı yaş grupları, geçerlik ve güvenirlik bilgileri, içerikleri, materyalleri, alt testleri, puanlandırma sistemleri ve test maddelerinin dağılımı bildirilmiştir.

Knowing the stages of speech, language, and hearing development in young patients developing normally helps to detect issues (or delays) with their abilities. By identifying the loss early on and carrying out the necessary interventions, it is possible to promise that a child with hearing loss will experience a developmental phase close to normal. Training in hearing and language appropriate for the child’s age and developmental stage constitutes appropriate therapies. Early identification and receiving hearing aids or auditory implants in children necessitate educational programs— suitable for their language and hearing development stages. Hearing and language instruction aid in children’s expressive and receptive language development. In addition to the child’s current developmental stage, the tests that measure language and speech provide significant and valuable evaluation criteria for figuring out how effective these interventions and rehabilitative approaches will be in making the diagnosis. The use of language and speech assessment tests in multidisciplinary research enables detailed and comprehensive evaluations of the child’s development, which will shed light on scientific investigations. The child’s receptive and expressive language—as well as aphasia and stuttering for certain language developmental disorders—can be assessed using language and speech assessment tools. This review focuses on language and speech assessment tests used in the pediatric group. Test of Early Language Development, Turkish Expressive and Receptive Language Test, Test of Language Development-Primary, Preschool Language Scale, Picture-Vocabulary Test, Ankara Articulation Test, Early Literacy Test, Turkish Pronunciation and Phonology Test, Stuttering Severity Instrument 4, and Aphasia Language Assessment Test are all mentioned in this context. This study documented the objectives of these tests, the target age groups, the reliability and validity data, the content, materials, subtests, scoring procedures, and the distribution of test items.
