Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi öğrencilerinin üniversite ve meslek seçimini etkileyen faktörlerin tespiti "İstanbul ili Avrupa Yakası uygulaması''

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, 2020-2021 eğitim öğretim döneminde İstanbul ili Avrupa yakasında bulunan mesleki ve teknik anadolu lisesinde okuyan 11. ve 12. sınıf öğrencilerinin üniversite ve meslek seçimlerini etkileyen faktörlerin (kişisel, sosyal ve ekonomik) neler olduğunu tespit etmektir. Konuyla ilgili ilk olarak literatür taraması yapılmıştır. Yapılan literatür taramasından ardından tezin hipotezleri ve belirlenen hipotezlere göre öğrencilere uygulanan anket oluşturulmuştur. Üniversite ve meslek seçimlerini etkileyen etkenlerden, anne-babanın eğitim durumu, anne babanın mesleği, ailenin ekonomik yapısı, öğrencilerin cinsiyetleri, şu an okumakta oldukları alanla meslek seçimi arasındaki ilişkiyi araştırmada elde edilen bulgularla objektif bir şekilde açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Gençlere karar verme sürecinde ailelerin, rehberlik uzmanlarının, öğretmenlerin ve diğer kişilerin destek olmaları gerektiği sonucuna varılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini 2020-2021 eğitim öğretim döneminde İstanbul İli Avrupa yakasında bulunan mesleki ve teknik anadolu liselerinde okuyan 11. ve 12. sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Örneklem, basit rastgele örnekleme yoluyla seçilmiş 1395 öğrencidir. Bu araştırma tarama modelinde betimsel bir çalışmadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen anket kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada atılımcıların verdikleri cevaplar ilk olarak MS Excel programında düzenlenerek uygun kategorilere ayrılmıştır. Çeşitli demografik değişkenlere göre katılımcıların anket sorularına verdikleri cevapların yüzdelik ve frekans değerleri çapraz tablo analizi ve ki kare testi ile analizi yapılmıştır. Bu araştırma ile ilgili istatistiksel analizler de yapılacak söz konusu hipotez testlerinde anlamlılık seviyesi α=0,05 alınmıştı

The aim of this study is to determine the factors (personal, social and economic) affecting the university and vocational choices of 11th and 12th grade students attending vocational and technical Anatolian high schools in the European side of İstanbul in the 20120-2021 accademic year. Literatüre was first written on the subject. After the defined literatüre, the accepted thesis and commonly applied treatments. Students who are candidates for same kind of explanation from the future educated adults, as they can raise their parants' educational status, mother's profession, sufficient strength, abilities, development, schools and professions. It was concluded that families, counseling experts, teachers and other people should support young people in the decision- making process. The universa of the study consists of 11th and 12th grade students attending vocational and technical anatolian high schools in the European side of Istanbul. The sample was selected by simple random sampling. This research is a descriptive study in screening model. Data collection tool and questionnaire developed by the researcher were used in the study. The answers given by the participants in the research were first arranged in the MS Excel program and divided into appropriate categories. Percentage and frequency values of the answers given by the participants to the survey questions according to various demographic variables were analyzed by crooss table analyses and chi-square test. In the aforementioned hypothesis testsi in which statistical analyzes of this research will be made, the level of significanse was taken as α=0,05.
