The Impact of Aviation Management Students’ Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) Levels on Unemployment Anxiety
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine whether the fear of missing out levels of aviation
management undergraduate students have an impact on their unemployment anxiety. In this
study, explanatory research method was applied. In this direction, a questionnaire was applied
to the students of the aviation management department of a foundation university. The sample
of the research consists of 137 undergraduate aviation management students. The data obtained
as a result of the applied questionnaire were analyzed with the SPSS 25.0 package program.
Exploratory factor analysis, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA analysis, pearson correlation
analysis and cluster analysis were used in the study. As a result of the analyzes carried out, it
was concluded that aviation management students' fear of missing out has an effect on
unemployment anxiety.
