Kadınlar voleybol 1. Liginde oynayan profesyonel sporcuların voleybol branşına yönelmesinde aile, çevre ve toplum unsurlarının etkisinin araştırılması

Abstract

Bu araştırmada profesyonel voleybolcuların voleybol branşına yönelmesinde aile, çevre ve toplum unsurlarının etkisinin araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında bireylerin spora başlama teşvik, sporu profesyonel bir şekilde devam ettirme ve spordan beklentilerinin yaş, ailesinde sporcu birey bulunup bulunmama, kardeş sayısı ve spora başlama yaşı değişkenlerine göre anlamlı olarak farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığı incelenmiştir. Araştırma grubu yaşları 15 ile 38 arasında değişen ve kadınlar voleybol 1. liginde oynayan profesyonel sporculardan oluşmaktadır. Araştırmaya katılacak kişiler belirlenirken uygun örnekleme yönteminden yararlanılmıştır. Bu araştırma betimsel yöntemle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma doğrultusunda genel tarama modellerinden biri olan ilişkisel tarama modeli tercih edilmiştir. Araştırmada Kişisel Bilgi Formu, ve sporcuların voleybola başlama nedenlerini belirlemek amacıyla kullanılacak ölçek ile veriler elde edilmiştir. Veriler IBM SPSS 22 paket programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin yorumlanmasında hata payı .05 olarak kabul edilmiştir. Verilerin analizi yapılırken ilk olarak her bir alt probleme göre uç değer analizi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Uç değer gösteren herhangi bir verinin bulunmadığı görülmüştür. Ardından 102 veri ile normallik incelemelerine geçilmiştir. Normallik incelemesi yapılırken öncelikle her bir alt grubun çarpıklık ve basıklık değerlerine bakılmış, değerlerin +1,5 ve –1,5 arasında yer almadığı görülmüştür. Bu doğrultuda istatistiksel işlem olarak Man Whitney U ve Kruskal Wals H analizleri yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda voleybolcuların spordan beklenti alt boyutu yaş, kardeş sayısı ve spora başlama yaşı değişkenlerine göre istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur. Voleybolcuların spora teşvik alt boyutunda kardeş sayıları değişkenine göre anlamlı bir farklılık tespit edilirken. Voleybolcuların spora başlama yaşlarına göre sporla uğraş ve spordan beklenti boyutunda farklılık bulunmuştur.

Within the scope of this research, it is aimed to investigate the effects of family, environment and social factors on professional volleyball players' orientation to the volleyball branch. Within the scope of the research, it was investigated whether the individuals' expectations from sports, encouragement to start sports, continue sports professionally, and their expectations from sports differ significantly in terms of age, the presence of athletes in their family, the number of siblings and the age of starting sports. The research group consists of professional athletes aged between 15 and 38 who play in the women's volleyball 1st league. Appropriate sampling method was used while selecting the individuals to participate in the study. The research was carried out with relational scanning model, one of the general scanning models. In the study, the data were analyzed using IBM SPSS 22 package program. The margin of error in the interpretation of the data was accepted as .05. While analyzing the data, firstly, outlier analysis was performed according to each sub-problem. It has been observed that there is no data showing any extreme value. Then, normality studies were started with 102 data. While analyzing normality, firstly, the skewness and kurtosis values of each subgroup were examined and it was seen that the values were not between +1.5 and – 1.5. In this direction, Man Whitney U and Kruskal Wals H analyzes were performed as a statistical procedure. As a result of the research, a statistically significant difference was found in the sub-dimension of volleyball players' expectation from sports according to the variables of age, number of siblings and age of starting sports. While a significant difference was found in the sub-dimension of volleyball players' incentive to sports, according to the variable of the number of siblings. According to the age of starting the sport of volleyball players, a difference was found in terms of engagement and expectation from sports.
